There are two sides to my sense of style, which I attribute to my classic Gemini trait of having a split personality. One half of me adores dressing up in romantic dresses and glamorous tailoring, while the other half prefers dressing down in leggings and cosy knitwear.
When I dress down, it’s because I want to be comfortable and ready for any eventuality. For example, chasing my kids round the park, lounging on the sofa with a cuppa and a bar of chocolate, walking the dog, working from home – that sort of thing. That said, I still want to feel put-together in case I bump into someone I know or get an unexpected Teams call.
Enter, Boody. This sustainable Australian brand is my new favourite for all sorts of comfy clothes – from loungewear and activewear to underwear and nightwear, they’ve got it covered. When they reached out to work with me, I was thrilled – their clothes are made from bamboo, a fabric I already love (there’s nothing better than a soft pair of bamboo socks), so it made sense that I would want to share them with you.
I chose the active high waist full length legging and racerback sports bra. Leggings are a staple in my wardrobe, and these ones fit beautifully, are super soft, and have plenty of stretch and support – not an easy combination to master. The little side pocket is handy for keys or your phone (or a doggy poo bag) and they wash really well. Likewise, the bra gives light support for a comfortable day at home, light walk, or meditative yoga session, and it’s so soft on the skin that it’s ideal for sleeping in too. (It might offer higher support to someone with a smaller bra size than me.)
