Christmas doesn’t have to mean red, green, silver or gold! After seeing this pink striped tablecloth by Susie Watson Designs I knew I had to have it for summer soirees, but I also like to shop pieces that will work hard for me – so I decided to use the pink and white stripes as the basis for our Christmas table this year.
The green of my Spode Christmas Tree dinner collection was the perfect complement to the pink, so I added some Christmas tree candles and added a sprinkle of magic by way of miniature deer and candles, hand painted by the kids and me. My grandparents’ cutlery, golden-rimmed glassware and pink velvet bows brought the tablecloth to life, and the addition of striped and green crackers finished the table perfectly.
Let me know what you think of this alternative Christmas tablescape in the comments!
I hope you all had a great Christmastime with loved ones.
