How to Wear a Statement Necklace Three Ways: Look 1 – The Office

Melle Cloche kindly sent me a necklace a few weeks ago and, sometimes, I find myself just looking at it  – it’s so pretty! It’s a necklace you might find draped over the mirror of a chic white dressing table, sitting pretty above a crystal jewellery dish containing scattered pearls and diamonds, discarded after an evening of fun and frolics in Paris. The almost-choker style and bling crystals make it perfect as eveningwear, but the dove grey stones neutralise the bling, meaning it also works as daywear. So, with this in mind, I decided to blog on the statement necklace.

How to wear it three ways: for the office, the weekend and the night out. Over Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I’ll bring you three different outfits to suggest different ways to wear a statement necklace.

First up, it’s how to wear it to the office. Granted, the leather trousers won’t work in particularly corporate environments, however, they are easily swapped for simple black trousers, which everyone has a pair of. The white shirt is another wardrobe staple and a statement necklace always looks nice peeking out from beneath the collar… add a neat jacket and a satchel (large or small) to add structure, while a pair of specs always gives the impression that one means business, yes?

How would you wear a statement necklace to the office?
