Feel good, look good

I never thought I’d be one for leather trousers but I also never thought I’d wear my underwear as outerwear…

So here I am, surprising myself – and possibly you – with more fashion newness. And although I don’t feel I look my best in these trousers (£7 in the H&M sale) they do feel comfy and cool, and I love that I can wear them casually with a jumper and trainers or dressed up with heels and a blazer.

I wore them to the office yesterday and as I left the house I asked my husband if I looked like a sausage in too-tight skin. He said no but I had my doubts. However, when I got to work I received four compliments on them before lunchtime. Perhaps that’s a wee reminder that if we feel good, we look good. So if, like me, you love something but you feel self-conscious – just go with it. Promise you’ll have fun.
