A puffer jacket and a spring handbag

In the depths of winter, sometimes we need a reminder that there is more to life than damp pavements, dreary days and dark nights. For me, this can be looking back on photographs of summer, remembering it’s just a matter of time until we feel the sun beat down on our faces again. Other times it’s more superficial, a different blusher perhaps, or a pop of colour and a floral print starts to appear in my day to day wardrobe.

Last month, it was this Strathberry bag in the most #cottagecore worthy shade of sage. It’s light enough to feel spring-ready without looking entirely out of place against my winter get-up of puffer coats and heavy boots. and it’s size and shape lends itself to daytime or evening, I love that it has a cross body strap as well as the top handle and, of course, the Strathberry signature metal bar closure.

I can’t wait to team it with a ribbed tank top, wide leg linen trousers and flip flops… not long now.

I’m wearing

Bag, Strathberry (pr product) in sage and new in seagrass this spring
Coat, Hobbs – currently on sale (pr product)
Leggings, TK Maxx
Boots, Vagabond
Sunglasses, M&S

This coat looks so cosy but I’m with you! I can’t wait for spring to finally arrive – this bag is gorgeous too.
