When it comes to mini breaks, it can often be difficult to know what to pack; you want to take as few pieces of clothing as possible without limiting your options, and as far as toiletries are concerned, it’s miniatures all the way. I’m fairly good at taking just the essentials (jeans, a couple of t shirts, a day-to-evening dress, shampoo, conditioner, make up, deodorant and Tom Ford Black Orchid) but I do try to make space for important extras such as high heels and Halo wipes.
Halo wipes are the perfect travelling companion (and especially good for all the summer festivals approaching). There’s a variety of wipes to choose from, including deodorant wipes, toilet wipes and sanitising hand wipes. Said wipes came in particularly handy when Mr Man and I were in Geneva a few weeks ago – a Swiss seagull pooped on his jacket and I came to the rescue with my fabulous array of Halo wipes! It’s nice to know that when doing the tourist thing, there’s no need to worry about the public loo situation – so long as you’ve got your Halo wipes, you can rest assured that the toilet seat will be clean, and your hands sanitised. What’s more, the small, handy packs take up no more space than your mobile phone, so they’re not a burden to carry around when seeing the sights.
As I type, I’m on my way to Provence with my Halo wipes tucked neatly inside my hand luggage. The only downside? They’re so handy that I’m going to have to restock my supply as soon as I get back!
