Here are some Monaco snaps! It’s a beautiful place with a distinct ‘French Riviera’ vibe, but the people are what up the ante. Their clothes, their cars, their attitudes – all rich beyond belief.

Above: Did you know Monaco has its own brewery? We tried three different types and they were all yum – I’m holding my favourite, which was light like a lager – but I also liked the really dark one, which tasted bitter, like ale. Beer at lunch in the sun though? Yes please, I’m not fussy!
Above: Hotel de Paris – this famous hotel closed its doors while we were in town. The doorman spoke to us and told us he’d been there for 25 years, and that he was “tres triste” (very sad). The hotel will keep around 40 rooms open and will open another 40 over Christmas. Then it’s a four year wait until the hotel reopens, freshly refurbished and ready for business. I might have to go back in 2018 just to see!
