L-R: Lanvin AW13, Rochas AW13
We’re not even through July yet and we’re still dressing for summer temperatures, however, as August approaches my mind wanders to the release of the September issues and, in turn, the new AW13 collections. Already I am feeling inspired by the runway shows, from ladylike goths at Lanvin to the cosy allure of oversize woollies at Rochas. On the high street, budget friendly Primark has come up trumps with the AW13 campaign, which includes textured coats, printed jumpers, punk-esque detailing and some amazing PVC skirts. I have my eye on the pleather circle skirt, leopard fur coat and tartan shift (below). I suppose it’s time to start sharpening my elbows now, so they are ready to fight the crazy Primark crowds come the September release.
