The prettiest of summer evenings meant it was time for an outing for the prettiest of summer dresses… this one is by one of my favourite affordable sustainable fashion brands, Albaray. She’s gorgeous, with an open back (bra-friendly), and an empire cut with A-line skirt, she skims rather than hugs the body and, as soon as I saw the antique rose print and tulip sleeves I fell head over heels. I knew she’d look fabulous for a summer wedding evening soiree and that’s exactly where she went last Friday night. Paired with my beaded pearl bag that fits in more than you’d expect from such a little bag, I felt the mid-summer dreamy vibes I’d been hoping for when I tried her on at home a couple of weeks ago. Now I just need another occasion – and another balmy summer’s eve – to enjoy the dress all over again.
