Many of you will know that I live ten minutes from the beach, a spot I visit regularly with the dog. It’s so nice to know that the fresh sea breeze is just a short walk away; I find it’s one of the best ways to clear your head and forget about life’s every day responsibilities.
So far, this autumn has been beautiful in Dundee with crisp, clear air and bright blue skies. Where better to spend sunny days than by the sea? Dundee is lucky to be situated on the banks of the River Tay and, finally, the city is working hard towards reaching its full potential with a huge waterfront development project. This means that our city centre is a construction site and probably will be for a long time to come but, luckily, my home town Broughty Ferry (just outside the city) isn’t affected, so we can still enjoy the gorgeous views along the beach and waterfront, where there are some really lovely homes and a picturesque yacht club.
We took a walk along the river by the yacht club, Jake in his usual monochrome and me in my new Damart cable knit sweater (where better to wear a cable knit?) with these J by Jasper Conran at Debenhams jeans and Sunday Somewhere‘s super cool Isabella sunglasses.
