The Etam lingerie 2011 runway show took place on Monday night and Natalia Vodianova is the face (or rather, body) of the collection.
I think Natalia is one of the most gorgeous models of her generation (she’s 29 next month) and as a woman of the same age, I think she is an incredible role model. Aside from being utterly breathtaking in the looks (and legs!) departments, she has changed her life from being a fruit seller in Russia to an international supermodel – obviously a good business brain too, because we all know how short a life span the average modelling career has – and also a mother. Her most admirable side is her love and dedication to under privileged children – she is founder of the Naked Heart Foundation.
Natalia is a brilliant choice for the Etam lingerie campaign. She oozes sex appeal but she doesn’t lose her appeal to women, a difficult combination to achieve. But, of course, Natalia Vodianova is no ordinary woman: she’s an inspiration, both inside and out.
