Bessie the Bus is in town! I’ve always been a fan of Oasis (I used to buy ALL my dresses there!) because they do pretty clothes and great prints really, really well. They’re the shop equivalent of the girl next door, if you know what I mean? Pretty and gorgeous and an all round good egg. That’s why I’m super excited that the Oasis bus, Bessie, has come to Dundee.
I first ‘met’ Bessie in Edinburgh at the Festival, parked on the bustling George Street – the first thing I asked was, “Will Bessie be coming to Dundee?” and the answer was that, yes, she would be, the following week! So, I hot footed it to town yesterday (she’s here today, too) to take a proper look around the bus; it’s a fully functional shop, selling all Oasis stock with a fitting room and a till and lovely sales people to help you find what you need.
The idea behind Bessie is, essentially, customer service; Oasis want to bring the shop to the customer, and engage with shoppers in a fun, new way. I think it’s a great idea and – as a social media addict (primarily Instagram) – Bessie makes for a fabulous photo op!
Bessie is in Dundee on 20 and 21 August before heading to Loch Lomond for the weekend, followed by Perth next week. Tag @oasisfashion and @the_daydreamer_ and use the hashtag #bessiethebus in your Bessie pics!
