This weekend felt very close to spring…. the weather was milder than it has been in a while, the sun was shining brightly over fresh, natural blooms, and the birds were singing contentedly. Such a refreshing and positive time of year surely calls for stripes and espadrilles. Avoid premature summer vibes by choosing a black and beige colour palette (rather than summer’s go-to of navy and white), leather rather than canvas espadrilles and – of course – a showerproof mac. It might be spring, but, in Scotland, it can still pour with rain at any given moment!
