English Summer

Well, our two week break from work is almost over! We left Oxford on Wednesday evening after a lovely day spent in the quaint village of Burford. My mother-in-law and I gossiped over tea and cream scones and went thrift shopping (I found dresses by MaxMara and Dries, neither of which came home with me) while the boys played golf – we met them later for lunch at the golf club. When we got back to the village, we enjoyed a long walk with J-DOGG by the lock. It was so peaceful watching the boats pass through – it would be easy to spend hours there, lying on the grass reading books and eating strawberries in the summer sun.
