I really do love Alber Elbaz. His designs for Lanvin are always first class and I continually get the impression that he is a lovely, lovely person. The AW11 video campaign for Lanvin is brilliant and seems perfect for Lanvin by Elbaz; extravagant without being pretentious.
The video sees top supermodels dancing to Pitbull’s I Know You Want Me. Raquel Zimmerman and Karen Elson were filmed by top fashion photographer, Steven Meisel, and the leggy lovelies really do let loose in their Lanvin finery. The clothes and accessories are to die for, but the best part is Elbaz making an appearance at the end of the video alongside the models, proving that we really are all geeks at heart.
