Burberry Cat Lashes mascara (£24) launches this month and, if you like to play up your eyes then you have to give this a try. The wand is quite different to anything I’ve seen before; slim in the centre, with full, rounded ends which really give definition to the outer lashes (creating that cat-eye effect – the ultimate partner to your liquid liner). The brush is super flexible, so moves easily between even the tiniest of lashes, and provides good coverage, while fanning out the lashes. Cat Lashes really makes my eyes ‘pop’ by lengthening each lash individually with little clumping – it’s a new favourite (I’ve been wearing it every day) and I particularly like the squared, mirrored tube with signature Burberry check. Super chic.
Of course, I had to tell you about some of the other Burberry Beauty products, which are equally as gorgeous. I explained on my Snapchat (find me: daydreamer.net) that I already use the Fresh Glow BB Cream (for summer) and the Effortless Kohl Eyeliner in Stone, (though I use it on the inner corners and to highlight my brow bone, rather than as a typical eyeliner), so I was excited to try out a few more products. I use the BB cream in the summer months as it’s really sheer, but for winter I’ll definitely be using the fuller coverage Burberry Cashmere foundation (in 26 Beige). It glides on easily and though it’s a full coverage foundation, it’s doesn’t feel caked on and it leaves the skin feeling soft. I really don’t like a foundation that loses moisture because you can really see how it dries the skin out but – despite its full coverage – Burberry Cashmere looks fresh and flawless throughout the day.
Another product I loved was the Eye Colour Contour pen. I was sent Natural and Dusky Mauve which work really well together. Again, these eyeshadow pens are soft and creamy, and are easy to apply even without an eyelid primer. They blend easily together; I used the warmth of my fingers to move the colour around and blend together, but I’m sure a brush would work too – the appeal of these pens is that you really don’t need anything else though. The only down side was that the colour didn’t last very long – however, they’re so easy to apply that I would happily pop them in my bag and reapply throughout the day/evening. Probably one of the simplest products I’ve come across, so easy to use and there’s no risk of making a mess when attempting a smoky eye. The Eye Colour Contour pens are perfect for people on the go, or people who don’t like to spend a lot of time or energy on their make up.
As you know, I’m a skin and eyes girl, so as much as I adore the lipsticks that were generously sent over to me, I just know I won’t wear them. They’re really rich, gorgeous colours and are beautifully packaged, so they must have a happy home with someone who will love them! The top ones are Burberry Full Kisses in Cherry Blossom (left) and Lilac (right), and the bottom set are Burberry Kisses Sheer in Oxblood (left) and Light Crimson (right). Keep scrolling to find out how you can win one.

Woo! I would love to win a lipstick please. I love wearing bright colours. I think it brightens up my face, my outfit and everybody’s day including mine
A pop of colour on your lips is all you need to bring the whole look together.
I love Burberry Kisses Sheer in Oxblood the most, then
Lilac, Burberry Full Kisses in Cherry Blossom and Light Crimson .
I love wearing lippy as it makes me feel so girly and fun the brighter the better makes me pop hehe
Love Lippy because it gives my lips a glamorous pout
Love the Lippy colour light crimson
Thanks for the chance!
I wear lipstick every day, I don’t feel complete without it! Natural colours for Summer & bright reds for Winter to liven up my Winter wardrobe. The order in which I like these are: Cherry blossom & Crimson (joint 1st), Oxblood, Lilac.
I absolutely love wearing lipstick as it tops off my look. It gives me the opportunity to choose a colour that goes with my skin, outfit or occasion. These colours would be amazing to have!
Burberry Full Kisses in Cherry Blossom, Burberry Kisses Sheer in Oxblood,
My lips have had stood the test of time, when all other parts of my body have changed so much with Motherhood 😉
A lovely lippy can make you feel amazing when all else fails.
Light Crimson, Cherry blossom, Oxblood & Lilac
Wearing lipstick is fun! You can change shades to accent outfits or express mood. A slick of Matt or glossy can boost your confidence instantly, and keep lips moisturised too! x
(Oxblood, Lilac, Cherry Blossom, Light Crimson. [email protected])
Wearing lipstick makes me feel like I can take on the world! It gives me confidence and although they’re all beautiful, that ox blood shade would make me feel fierce!
Love wearning a lipstick to brighten up my look
like all the colours
I’ve never been very good at creating the perfect smokey eye, or mastering the art of contouring. Some days I barely manage to get my mascara on my lashes without a quick dab of black goop to the side of my nose. However, the one make-up trick I can manage is a slick of lipstick. Not only does it make me feel polished and pretty, it gives me that extra confidence boost to face the world and present my best smile.
Forgot to add my order: oxblood, cherry blossom, light crimson, lilac x
Great post, I love the packaging of these products! I enjoy wearing lippy to lift an outfit and finish a look. Order of preference (tough choice!) is 1) light crimson, 2) Oxblood, 3) Cherry blossom, 4) Lilac.
I have to admit that I’m a recent lipstick converter Before I only used lip gloss. But lovely girls at Bobby Brown made me change! And now I am into reds! So I have not tried Burberry yet but my proffered order is Kisses Sheer in Light Crimson, Oxblood, Full Kisses in Cherry Blossom, Lilac.
Lipsticks add just the perfect pop of colour you need to make any look work. Also the shade of lipstick one wears does add to the personality you want to reflect *wink*
Lilac is everything and more, then i love Burberry Kisses Sheer in Oxblood, Burberry Full Kisses in Cherry Blossom and Light Crimson.
*keeping my fingers crossed*
Cherry Blossom – As I am no longer in the prime of my youth, Cherry Blossom would be my preferred choice. Looks a lovely colour.
I love a good lip as it is so effortless and beautiful. My faves from most to least are: Cherry Blossom, Light Crimson, Lilac and Kisses Sheer in Oxblood! Thanks for hosting an awesome giveaway 🙂
Lipstick makes me feel brave and like a super sassy alter ego! I rarely wear make up so when I do I do it with bells on! I love that – like when you pencil in brows, or add blusher, lipstick changes your face 🙂
I love lippy because it is the one thing that makes me feel ready for each n every day…even if I walk out of the house without anything else on. Makeup, that is. 😉
1. Burberry Kisses Sheer Oxblood
2. Burberry Kisses Sheer Light Crimson
3. Burberry Full Kisses Cherry Blossom
4. Burberry Full Kisses Lilac
Wearing lipstick (and the act of putting it on!) makes me feel feminine, as though I’m getting touch with another part of myself through the application and then the color that I’ve chosen. I love Lilac, then Light Crimson, then Oxblood and lastly Cherry Blossom! Lots of love for Burberry:)
I love to wear lipstick because it accentuates my lips. They’re a little on the thin side so lipstick really helps. I should also add that I feel naked without my lippy! I’ve many different colours to go with all outfits and these lipsticks look very nice. I’d love to try them out do fingers crossed.
Ooh I’m loving the cherry blossom!
I’m a recent convert from lip gloss to lipstick, love the confidence it gives! Fingers crossed!
I love to wear lipstick when I’m going to a glamorous look and particularly want to emphasis my lips – I feel like a film star on the red carpet when I do a strong eye liner with flick to complete the look. I would choose Cherry Blossom, followed by Lilic, Crimson then Oxblood.
