I like brands that care about women. For instance, the famous Dove campaign featuring an artist drawing women how others see them, which turned out to be quite different to the way they view themselves; the Fake Bake campaign using real women; and now Viviscal’s Hair Confessions Campaign, in which the hair loss brand is conducting a global hair census to find out about the hair experiences of real women. The campaign is being fronted by Pearl Lowe and celebrity stylist, Julia Carter (who have both spoken out about their use of the hair loss supplement) and Viviscal has also been used by Sex and the City star, Cynthia Nixon and Rob Kardashian.
You can take part in Viviscal’s Hair Confessions Campaign by completing the survey (http://www.viviscalhairconfessions.com/), which only takes two minutes. Don’t think of this as a boring questionnaire, think of it as a way to share your own experiences with a brand that really does try to make a difference in lives, by understanding that having good hair can really boost your confidence and happiness. With this in mind, in exchange for every entry, Viviscal will donate £1 to Look Good Feel Better (LGFB), a charity that helps women going through cancer treatment combat the visible side effects, such as hair loss, and increase their self-confidence levels.
Viviscal is also making sure you’re rewarded for taking time out to help them in their new campaign – every entrant will also be entered into an amazing prize draw to win a trip to the Oscar Weekend 2014 in LA, where you and a friend will have an A-list make over with celebrity hair and make up artists before attending THE FREAKING OSCARS! Don’t just enter for the prize though, enter because you want to help Viviscal make a difference.
Viviscal sent me a sample of their hair growth supplement (which contains no drugs or hormones and has been recommended by doctors, nutritionists and hair stylists across the globe), so stay tuned to The Daydreamer because I’ll be reviewing the supplement after a month of taking it. I don’t suffer from hair loss, but I do have fine, dry hair that has weakened and thinned after a decade of heat styling. I’m excited to see the effects of Viviscal for myself! I’ll keep you posted. (If you’re not keen on taking supplements but would like to boost hair growth, check out Viviscal’s range of other hair products).
